Back with another My Thoughts!
I decided I'll stick with creating miniature stories, by using myself as a character.  Since these are supposed to be derived of MY thoughts, it only makes sense, right?

Anywho, today's subject is:  My Thoughts about the one thing I would do if I was granted one wish.
I know, sounds corny, but I don't like it when people say ask for more wishes.  So I did it honestly and fairly.

My Thoughts about the one thing I would do if I was granted one wish.

To the boy who has no life outside the digital world, the choice of having,
or doing, that which he cannot is a true mystery, and one hell of a gift.  Some
may say the kid would want all the money there is, or for the fame that will
have him known for centuries and beyond... but this is not the life he wants,
for he has a dream, and following that dream is a passion.  Neither of which
relates to fortune and fame.

His dream, is but a dream, but to live a life of fantasy.  That which is not,
a life that does not exist.  The various worlds of gaming have touched the
boys heart, enough to make him want to trade places with a world that doesn't
belong.  Life of a hero, within a world where anyone can make something
for themselves, without the many laws and restrictions laid down upon him.

His passion, is that of culture, but not of his own.  The boy is captivated by
culture of others.  Language, art, history, music, literature, culinary, and more.
The aspects of lifestyles from different perspectives.  Living life temporarily in the
shoes of someone else, in order to learn their culture.  Just knowing these can
be more than enough for the boy.

The truth is, this boy would rather follow his passion, than his dream.  Living
a your fantasy no longer makes it a fantasy, and no longer something we strive
for, no longer special to us.  Through sheer desire and hope does the human
work to his fullest to achieve what he may.  While pursuing cultural differences,
new 'worlds' will be opened up to the boy.  Thus, the fantasy that lies within,
may be enhanced with new found knowledge, and may he live said fantasy,
not through his eyes, but through his dreams.

My teacher is asking us to write these journals about a topic he gives us.  We're allowed to do whatever we wish to reply to said topic.  There are a few interesting ones so I thought I would share some.

Today's topic is:  "What are your thoughts about your name"
This name can include anything relating to you; first name, last name, middle name, nickname, etc.

I chose to do a miniature story for this.  I may come back to actually make it longer, add more detail, make it more interesting or something.

My thoughts about my nickname;

There was a boy.  This boy has no name, for he needs no name.
He lives life differently than other children.  He is an average boy who
resorts to isolating himself from others.  Due to this, he grew to be
very quiet and anti-social. However, he was not always like this.

While he was growing up, he made attempts to be active and
social, much like his peers, but this never worked out for him.  He had
restrictions put against him.  He never had a mother, and his father
was always working, day to night.  Father's work had put them in a
position to have to relocate every one or two years, so the boy never
really made any friends, and eventually, just gave up in trying to make
new ones.

Instead, the boy turned his attention to the online world, where he
had discovered gaming and social networks.  Through the games he
played, he earned his way to the top.  Every day that he came home
from school, he would turn his attention to the computer, and work his
hardest at whatever his objective was that day.  This granted him
recognition and friendship that would never fade, no matter how far you
went.  He had finally developed a new image, a new person for himself.
"The me I want to be."

While he progressed through the online and gaming worlds, his physical
being never went away.  Instead it rooted itself in his soul, and stood firmly
in the way of turning his digital self, into his physical self.  The boy honed
two different personalities; The second personality. The Twin personality.

Sorry for my complete and utter uselessness, I can't draw @_@.

However I do draw.  I like to paint but I have no way to submit art on DA right now.
I'm also not really set up for properly doing it.

It will only be a matter of time, hopefully after I move out.
